Choosing an optician is an important decision. Your sight is perhaps your most important sense – not only do you rely on it on a daily basis, but it also forms the foundation of most of your memories. So when it comes to your eye care, you want to know you’re in the hands of trusted professionals who have a reputation for skill and expertise.
At Walford & Round Opticians, that’s exactly what you’ll find. We’ve been in business since 1927, during which time the practice has passed down the generations but always remained in the family. We operate from four practices within the West Midlands where you will experience complete continuity of care, with the same Optometrist assisting you from your initial examination through to frame selection and adjustments where necessary.
Our Optometrists are all registered with the General Optical Council, as required by law, so you can be sure that your eyes will be taken care of by fully qualified and approved professionals. In addition, the team routinely participate in additional training and external courses to make sure they are always able to offer you the most recent and advanced products, advice and services.
You’ll be able to take advantage of our comprehensive eye care service, whatever your situation, needs or preferences. As well as eye examinations, we also offer contact lens fittings and aftercare, industrial and occupational vision screening and a specialist dry eye clinic.
As well as caring for our local client base, we also help people who need optical care in other parts of the world. We have an ongoing collection of unwanted second hand glasses; local Lions clubs take part in a national programme to ensure these glasses reach the developing countries where they are most needed.
